On the occasion of the upcoming Statehood Day of Montenegro, a formal reception was held on July 9th at the Blue Palace, Residence of the President of Montenegro, in Cetinje. The event was hosted by President of Montenegro, H.E. Jakov Milatović, and Mrs. Milena Milatović, and gathered high-ranking Montenegrin officials and members of the diplomatic corps.
H.E. Narciso Salvo di Pietraganzili, Ambassador of the Sovereign Order of Malta to Montenegro, attended the reception, where he had the opportunity to exchange greetings and discuss future cooperation with President Milatović and First Lady Mrs. Milena Milatović.
During their conversation, the President Milatović recalled the upcoming official visit to Montenegro of His Most Eminent Highness (H.M.E.M.) Fra’ John Dunlap, Grand Master of the Order of Malta, and highlight the importance of initiating preparations to determine the most appropriate dates for this significant visit.
During the reception, Ambassador Salvo di Pietraganzili met with H.E. Andreina Marsella, Ambassador of Italy to Montenegro, Jorge Urbiola López de Montenegro, the Chargé d’Affaires of the Embassy of Spain, as well as H.E. Archbishop Francis A. Chullikatt, Apostolic Nuncio to Montenegro. He also spoke with national authorities, including Ervin Ibrahimović, Deputy Prime Minister for International Relations and Minister of Foreign Affairs.
The ambassador’s presence at this formal reception on the occasion of Montenegro’s Statehood Day highlights the ongoing strengthening of bilateral relations and shared efforts toward further cooperation in areas of mutual interest.
