His Excellency Narciso Salvo di Pietraganzili, Ambassador of the Sovereign Military Order of Malta to Montenegro, attended the official reception marking 13th of July, the Statehood Day of Montenegro, held in the Old Royal Capital of Cetinje and hosted by His Excellency Mr. Jakov Milatović, President of Montenegro.
The Embassy of the Sovereign Military Order of Malta to Montenegro, represented by its First Secretary, Mr. Valerio Carafa, took part in the 19th edition of the “Gavro Vuković” International Summer School for Young Diplomats, held from 22 to 26 June 2026 in Montenegro. The event was organised and funded by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Montenegro and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Montenegro.
The Sovereign Military Order of Malta participated in the high-level international Conference “Gender Equality and Diplomacy: The Role of Ministries of Foreign Affairs in Promoting Gender Equality in the CEI Region,” held in Podgorica on 24–25 June 2026, in the context of the International Day of Women in Diplomacy.
The Grand Master of the Sovereign Order of Malta, Fra’ John T. Dunlap, was received yesterday morning in audience by Pope Leo XIV at the Apostolic Palace. The meeting was an important moment for sharing and taking stock of the Order’s mission in the world, in a geopolitical framework of serious crises.
The Embassy of the Sovereign Military Order of Malta to Montenegro commemorated the Feast of Saint John the Baptist, Patron Saint of the Order of Malta, with a Holy Mass celebrated at the Don Bosco Centre on 24 June.
On Monday 22nd June, His Beatitude Cardinal Pierbattista Pizzaballa, Latin Patriarch of Jerusalem blessed the Order of Malta’s clinic in Gaza City, in the presence of His Beatitude Theophilos III, Patriarch of the Holy City of Jerusalem and all Palestine and Jordan.
